SAN ANTONIO — The countdown to the first day of school is on, and Fox Tech High School students can look forward to a packed menu when classes begin Aug. 12, featuring beloved favorites from breakfast tacos to chicken flautas.
For San Antonio Independent School District, breakfast offers a little something for every appetite. Students can start the day with Tex-Mex favorites like Bean and Cheese Tacos or Potato, Egg and Cheese Tacos, or opt for classics such as French Toast and Sausage, and Texas styled Chicken Biscuits. The menu even offers options for healthier, lighter choices, including Overnight Oats and Yogurt Parfaits. Along with Emoji Waffles for a fun start to the morning.
Lunchtime brings a mix of comfort food, Texas-inspired flavors, and cafeteria favorites for students in grades 9-12, along with a few new additions to the menu. Students can dig into Chicken and Chile Flautas, Homestyle Breaded Tenders, BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Bean and Cheese Pupusas, Grilled Chicken Alfredo, Personal Cheese Calzones, and Turkey and Cheese Bento Boxes.
Every meal comes with a choice of sides, including spinach side salads, baby carrots, chilled berry fruit cups, and cilantro lime rice.
