Most of San Antonio’s two dozen free public pools will close after this weekend, but seven will remain open until Labor Day.
The city announced Thursday that the following pools will be open on weekends through Sept. 7:
The pools will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Woodlawn Lake Pool will be open Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for lap swim and aqua fitness classes.
The city also announced the date of its annual Glow Aqua Zumba event, an after-dark party held every year at the end of the summer pool season. This year’s event is scheduled for Sept. 9 at Woodlawn Lake Pool. It is free and open to ages 18 and up.
San Antonio’s city splash pads will remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through October.
