LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Beginning Friday, August 7, 2026, The City of Lubbock says crews will close Redbud Avenue near Parkway Drive to install piping.
The work is scheduled to be completed by August 12, weather permitting.
The City urges motorists to use an alternate route if possible, eliminate distractions, and plan for extra travel time when driving through the area.
