WEST, Texas (KWTX) – Authorities are awaiting autopsy results after a 41-year-old man was found dead inside a local residence Monday evening.
At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, the West Police Department responded to the 100 block of South Williams Street after a resident requested a welfare check on a friend.
Officers entered the home and confirmed that Dillan Lambright, 41, was deceased.
Due to the nature of the scene, West Police Chief Chris White requested assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Texas Rangers to help process the area.
An inquest was performed, and McLennan County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace David Pareya has ordered an autopsy.
The active investigation remains pending those results.
