EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Deputies with the El Paso County Constable Office, Precinct Three, arrested a 25-year-old woman after tracking down a vehicle linked to her outstanding warrants, authorities said.
The woman was arrested at a hotel parking lot in the 6700 block of Boeing Drive on Wednesday.
Deputies with the El Paso County Constable Office of Hector Bernal, Precinct Three, received information that Alexus Sanchez had outstanding criminal warrants for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1/1-B, under 1 gram, with a $1,000 bond, and theft, Class B, with a $5,000 bond.
Deputies developed information about a vehicle associated with Sanchez. A sergeant contacted the El Paso Police Department Fusion Center, where the Flock License Plate Reader system was used to help determine the vehicle’s whereabouts.

The vehicle was located at a hotel parking lot in the 6700 block of Boeing Drive, and deputies established surveillance. Shortly after noon, deputies said they saw Sanchez and two men exit the hotel and get into the vehicle. Deputies conducted a vehicle stop in the parking lot and took Sanchez into custody on the outstanding warrants.
After the arrest, deputies searched the vehicle and found suspected fentanyl, authorities said.
Constable Hector Bernal said the Flock License Plate Reader system remains an important investigative tool that helps law enforcement locate wanted people and enhance public safety across El Paso County.
