It’s that time of year again when restaurants across San Antonio offer special three-course menus at set prices during Culinaria’s Summer Restaurant Weeks. This round of restaurant deals will run from August 8-29, giving people an extra week to indulge in some of the city’s fanciest dining experiences.
More than 100 restaurants are participating this year, which can make choosing where to go a daunting task, even with the extra time. To make it easier, we’ve picked out a handful of menus that are sure to impress as y’all venture out for Restaurant Weeks.

Brasserie Mon Chou Chou
The French brasserie will offer a three-course lunch for $30 and a five-course dinner for $55. Entrée options include rotisserie chicken, panko rainbow trout with brown butter caper sauce, and, for dinner, petite steak frites. Desserts include a classic crème brûlée or profiteroles to finish the meal on a sweet note.

Braised beef short rib is part of the special menu at Bliss during August’s monthlong Restaurant Weeks program organized by Culinaria.

Bliss
Bliss is a Restaurant Weeks favorite for its one-of-a-kind tasting menu, which showcases the best of what a contemporary American restaurant can do. At $55, diners can choose from starters such as hamachi sashimi tostadas and oysters on the half shell with squid ink crackers, leading up to entrees like blackened Gulf shrimp and grits or braised short ribs.
Supplements are available for premium dishes, such as the filet mignon or charred octopus, if you’re feeling extra fancy.

Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano
Head to the Dominion area if you’re looking for a top-notch Italian dinner during Restaurant Weeks. Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano will offer a $55 three-course dinner with multiple selections for each course.
Start with fire-roasted meatballs or prosciutto bruschetta, followed by handcrafted duck ravioli or slow-braised lamb shank roasted with aromatic herbs, and top off the evening with a serving of tiramisu or cheesecake.

Outlaw Kitchens on North Flores Street

This neighborhood gem is always cooking up something special, and Restaurant Weeks are no exception. From August 13-15, Outlaw Kitchens will offer a set $55 menu featuring arancini telefono, steak chimichurri and a choice between a flourless chocolate almond torte or strawberry shortcake.

For the same price point, the restaurant is switching it up August 20-22 with a menu featuring a Morrocan sigarum appetizer (lamb and beef wrapped in crispy phyllo), redfish and gumbo as an entree, and a choice between the flourless chocolate almond torte or a peach pie topped with chantilly cream.

Located at Pullman Market, Mezquite will offer a $45 Restaurant Weeks menu highlighting its Sonoran-style Mexican cuisine. Choose from options such as roasted cauliflower, frijoles rancheros, pollos asados, chile relleno, tres leches and sorbete for this three-course meal.

Hotel Emma’s farm-to-table restaurant is participating in Restaurant Weeks with a three-course lunch menu for $30 and a three-course dinner menu for $55. Dinner options range from crispy smoked quail to mushroom risotto, while lunch keeps it lighter with a sweet potato bowl or a coconut curry chicken salad sandwich.
