Police said officers detained multiple people at the home before arresting a 41-year-old man on a firearm-related charge. No injuries were reported.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 41-year-old man was arrested after police said he fired a gun inside a Southside Corpus Christi home early Thursday.
According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, officers were dispatched around 12:52 a.m. to the 4200 block of Belfast Drive after receiving a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they made announcements outside the home and detained multiple people who came out of the residence.
After investigating, police arrested the 41-year-old man on a charge of discharge of a firearm in certain municipalities.
No injuries were reported.
Police have not said what led to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
