CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The San Diego Independent School District Board of Trustees has named Bruce Wilson Jr. as the lone finalist for superintendent.
By law, the board must wait 21 days before voting to hire Wilson as the district’s new superintendent.
Wilson served as principal of Miller High School before joining the Corpus Christi ISD Office of School Leadership in 2021.

He is slated to replace out-going superintendent Rodrigo H. Pena, who has been with San Diego ISD since 2019.
