SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters rescued one person from a burning home on the Southeast Side Saturday morning, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.
The fire broke out around 9 a.m. in the 4600 block of Alma Drive. Crews arrived to find the home on fire with reports that someone may have been trapped inside.
Firefighters rescued one person, who was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The fire was brought under control.
The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
