Motorcycle rider dead after hitting a vehicle while ‘attempting to split traffic,’ according to police

Fort Worth police say the vehicle that the motorcycle hit left the scene before investigators arrived.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police say that one person is dead after their motorcycle hit another vehicle on Saturday.

Officials say the rider was splitting traffic near the intersection of Sansom Park Drive and Angle Avenue when the impact occurred.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene and they have not been identified at this time. FWPD says the investigation is ongoing.
