SAN ANTONIO – Police were investigating a reported shooting early Saturday afternoon.
At 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, officers were called to the area on a report of a “shooting in progress,” near the 11700 block of West Avenue.
Officers on scene said a 19-year-old man drove to the location, where his friends apparently live, and told police he had been robbed by two individuals and shot during the robbery.
Officers said the actual location of the shooting was unknown. The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was shot in the leg. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
