UPDATE (7 P.M.) – As of 7 p.m., Maria Medellin has been found safe and reunited with family.
SAN ANTONIO – The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a Silver Alert for a missing elderly woman,
77-year-old Maria Medellin was last seen around 10 a.m. on Aug. 6 at an address near the corner of Bearwolf Bay and Black Wolf Bay in the far West Side.
Medellin stands about five feet tall, weighing about 120 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, pink shirt, grey sweatpants, black shoes, and a pink fanny pack.
Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210)335-4630.
