SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested after allegedly attacking and robbing another man at a home on the city’s West Side.
The incident occurred Saturday afternoon at approximately 4:42 p.m. on the 1100 block of North Sabinas Street, where officers were initially called for an assault. When they arrived, they found the victim with visible injuries to his face.
The man told investigators he had gone to a residence in the 700 block of Rivas Street to drop off an item when the suspect attacked him.
Police said the victim was physically assaulted and robbed before he managed to walk away from the residence. An anonymous caller later contacted authorities to report the assault.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officers found the suspect and took him into custody on a robbery charge.
