EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — La Nube STEAM Discovery Center in downtown El Paso marked its second anniversary with a community birthday celebration Saturday, Aug. 8.
To celebrate “Two Years of Discovery,” La Nube offered free admission for children during the birthday event.
Since opening, La Nube has welcomed more than 360,000 guests, connecting children and families through STEAM experiences.

Chief Strategy Officer of La Nube Mick Martinez said that this anniversary allows for the chance to celebrate community.
“Over the past two years, we have seen how curiosity brings families together, builds confidence in children, and sparks a love of learning that reaches far beyond our walls,” Martinez said. “Community is at the heart of both our organizations, and this birthday is a chance to celebrate El Paso’s children, families, and the power of imagination.”
The celebration included a special meet and greet with Miffy, complimentary birthday t-shirts for kids, and several surprise activities.
