A 27-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed after a crash in Fort Worth Saturday afternoon, police said.
Fort Worth police officers responded shortly after 12 p.m. to the crash near the 4300 block of Angle Avenue, police said in a statement. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office identified the man as Justin Kyle Labriola.
According to police, witnesses reported that a white Toyota pickup truck was traveling south when a black Suzuki motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed in the second lane behind the Toyota.
Witnesses reported that the Toyota driver was changing lanes when the truck struck the motorcycle as it passed. The motorcycle then hit the curb, and Labriola was thrown from the vehicle, police said.
Labriola died at the scene from blunt force injuries according to the medical examiner’s website.
