A person is dead and two others are injured after a shooting in Dallas early Saturday morning.

Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 2700 block of Exile Street at approximately 4:31 a.m. Their preliminary investigation revealed that three people were shot and taken to the hospital via a private vehicle.

One person died at the hospital, according to police.

While police have not made an arrest in the shooting incident, there was a 37-year-old who was arrested after disregarding the crime scene tape and officers’ directions to avoid the area as they investigated. That man was charged with Interference with Public Duties, a Class B misdemeanor.

The condition of the other two people shot is still unknown.

Dallas police have not released any information on a potential shooting suspect, although the investigation is still ongoing.
