Texas’ first Miyako Hybrid Hotel is moving even closer to welcoming guests. The Beck Group celebrated the topping out of the Miyako Hybrid Hotel Plano on July 24, marking a major construction milestone for the $117 million boutique hotel.
Located at 6501 Legacy Drive, the project is scheduled to open Oct. 1, 2027, and will introduce the Japanese hospitality brand’s first Texas location.
A New Kind of Hotel Experience Comes To Plano
Developed by Kintetsu Enterprises Company of America, the Miyako Hybrid Hotel will blend Japanese-inspired hospitality with modern Texas influences, creating a destination designed for both overnight stays and large-scale gatherings.
The hotel will be the first Miyako Hotels & Resorts property in Texas and only the third in the United States, joining existing locations in Los Angeles and Torrance, California.
“Our vision is to create a hotel experience that combines elevated design, exceptional service, and highly functional meeting space,” said General Manager Alejandro Vazquez. “We want to provide a venue where guests can seamlessly blend business, hospitality, and social experiences under one roof.”
Designed for Business, Celebrations And Getaways
The full-service boutique hotel is planned with 217 guest rooms, along with flexible spaces designed to accommodate everything from corporate meetings to weddings and community events.
The property will include 7,000 square feet of meeting space and a 5,000-square-foot ballroom equipped for conferences, executive gatherings, galas and private celebrations.

Guests will also find outdoor gathering areas, a landscaped courtyard with greenery and blooming trees, an outdoor pool and a fitness center. The hotel’s design will include a modern glass exterior, reflective water features and outdoor terraces with dining and lounge areas.
When it opens in fall 2027, the Miyako Hybrid Hotel Plano will add a new hospitality option to Legacy Drive, offering travelers and locals a place where business, dining and special occasions can all come together under one roof.
