CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Performing Arts Center has announced the lineup for its 2026-27 Ferguson Bravo Series, bringing comedy, music and inspirational speakers to the Coastal Bend.
This year’s theme, “Hitting the Road,” celebrates the people, stories and performances that have shaped American culture.

The season opens in September with The Second City, the legendary improvisational comedy troupe known for launching the careers of performers including Tina Fey, Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert.
“It’s interactive, and it’s really a hoot,” said Sarah Baker with the Performing Arts Center. “A lot of times they’ll take an idea from the audience and create a story around that.”
The lineup continues in November with Temple Grandin, the internationally known autism advocate and animal scientist.
In December, country music artist Michael Martin Murphey brings his annual Cowboy Christmas performance to Corpus Christi.
The series continues in February with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, followed by A Neil Diamond Tribute in March, where audiences can sing along to favorites like Sweet Caroline.
Baker said the goal of this year’s series is to bring a variety of nationally recognized performers and experiences to the Coastal Bend.
