SAN ANTONIO – District 10 Texas 4-H is inviting youth, families, volunteers and community members to an interactive Mega Meeting later this week at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Grounds, an event organizers say is meant to show how the Rodeo grounds can bring the community together year-round.
The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo said District 10 Texas 4-H will host Mega Meeting 2026: A World of Possibilities on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Organizers said everyone is welcome, not just current 4-H families.
The annual event is designed to introduce youth and families, especially those new to 4-H, to the projects, leadership opportunities and life skills available through Texas 4-H. The release said participants will be able to explore different project areas through hands-on Mini Project Experiences.
Organizers said the goal is to encourage non-4-H youth and their families to find programs that match their interests and get involved in their local county 4-H program. Current 4-H members can also use the event to explore new project areas, develop leadership skills and gather ideas to take back to their counties.
