$2 million Powerball ticket sold at Dallas Tom Thumb

Someone who bought a Powerball ticket at a Dallas grocery store is holding a ticket worth $2 million, according to the Texas Lottery.

But if you missed out on the seven-figure prize, don’t worry. You’ve still got a shot at Monday night’s estimated $905 million Powerball jackpot.

The winning ticket was sold at the Tom Thumb at 7700 Northwest Hwy, state lottery officials said. It matched all five white-ball numbers in Saturday’s drawing but missed the Powerball.

The winning numbers were 5, 9, 35, 54 and 63, with a Powerball of 7.

Matching all five white balls normally pays $1 million, but the player bought the Power Play option, doubling the prize to $2 million. The ticket was purchased as a Quick Pick, meaning the numbers were randomly generated.

The $2 million ticket was the largest prize won by a Texas ticket in Saturday’s drawing. Nearly 143,000 Texas tickets won prizes, according to the state lottery.
