Texas volleyball will enter the 2026 season as the No. 2 team in the nation behind Nebraska, according to the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll released Monday.
Nebraska received all but six of the 63 first-place votes, with all the others going to SEC teams. Defending conference champion Kentucky picked up four first-place votes, defending national champion Texas A&M received one vote, and the Longhorns picked up one vote.
Texas will face the top-ranked Cornhuskers Aug. 30 in Las Vegas.
