BOERNE, Texas – Boerne Little League is headed back to the Little League World Series after winning the Southwest Region Championship with a 4-1 victory over Louisiana.
In a Facebook post, the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce and the Boerne Youth Athletic Association announced the team is bound for Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where it will compete in the Little League World Series.
“Boerne Little League is headed to the World Series!” the post said. “What a game! After a 4-1 victory over Louisiana, Boerne has officially claimed the Southwest Region Championship and is headed to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to compete in the Little League World Series!”
The post celebrated the win as a milestone for the community, noting it comes “just two years after their first World Series appearance.”

“We are so incredibly proud of these young athletes and everything they have accomplished,” the post said. “Congratulations to the Boerne Youth Athletic Association and the entire team! We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!”
Boerne Little League went to the Little League World Series back in 2024, but sadly lost their championship slot to Florida.
