Former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald’s name is already in Canton; soon, his No. 11 will take its place among Cardinals immortals. Fitzgerald will become the sixth player in Cardinals history to have his number retired and the 20th member of the team’s Ring of Honor. The honor comes just days after Fitzgerald entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class. The first-ballot Hall of Famer spent all 17 NFL seasons with Arizona and remains the franchise leader in games, receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. He was selected to 11 Pro Bowls and ranks among the NFL’s all-time leaders in catches and receiving yards. Fitzgerald’s No. 11 retirement will take place during halftime of the Cardinals’ Oct. 25 matchup with the Denver Broncos.
