CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Major improvements are coming to North Beach – and with it comes a change for commuters through the area.
The intersection of Timon Boulevard and Gulfspray Avenue will be closed for about two weeks starting this Tuesday.
The closure comes as a series of construction projects begin in the area. The projects center on revitalizing the greater North Beach area and improving road quality at the intersection. Among the changes to be expected are a new stormwater drainage canal, reconstructed streets and the beginning stages of a new park called Eco Park.

Drivers are advised to watch for detour signs and prepare alternate routes as needed.
