All southbound lanes of US 75 are closed at Plano Parkway due to a traffic incident, Plano police said.

PLANO, Texas — Update 11:59 a.m. Aug. 7: The highway has reopened to through traffic, according to Plano police. 

All southbound lanes of US 75 are closed at Plano Parkway due to a traffic incident, according to Plano police. 

The closure was reported around 9:40 a.m. in the southbound lanes of US 75 near Plano Parkway, the department said in a press release. 

It’s not clear when the roadway may reopen.
