TEXAS COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — A Texas man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Texas County late Monday night.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said 27-year-old Kaleb Shafer from Kilgore died after losing control of his vehicle and being thrown more than 100 feet.
Shafer was driving southbound on South Street Road around 11:51 p.m. Monday when he lost control on a curve at OK-136, causing his vehicle to roll multiple times.
OHP said Shafer was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was thrown from the vehicle.
Authorities said no other passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
