The Longhorns will go back to face the Tigers Thursday, Feb. 11, 2027 and won’t see LSU again until the SEC Tournament. LSU was Texas’ only conference opponent that played twice last season for the sole home and away games to fit the 16-game conference slate. This season that will be Texas A&M, which the Longhorns dominated 80-35 in College Station.
Texas will play the rest of the SEC just once. Other road games include its conference opener on New Year’s Eve to play Georgia in Athens, a Feb. 25, 2027 road trip to Oklahoma (a homecoming of sorts for transfer Zya Vann, a former Sooner) and then Feb. 28 to play Ole Miss.
Texas’ lineup of eight home games is a bit more interesting. After the Longhorns play Georgia, they will ring in 2027 at Moody Center hosting South Carolina on Jan. 3, 2027 and then Tennessee four days later on Jan.7 (Aaliyah Moore’s new team). Ten days later, Vanderbilt comes to town.
