Saxbys, a cafe run entirely by students, will celebrate its grand opening from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the UTA Bookstore.
The grand opening will include remarks from UTA Provost Tamara Brown, Saxbys CEO Nick Bayer, and inaugural student CEO Kiley Vaughan, along with free giveaways, a student DJ, games, and opening-day surprises.
Attendees can get a first taste of Saxbys’ cold brew, grilled cheeses, all-day breakfast, and more.
