The Bay Jammin’ Concert & Cinema Series wraps up its summer season with free live music and an outdoor movie by the bay. Admission is free, so families can bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic to enjoy the final weekend of entertainment.

Coastal Bend TX Chapter on the Water Kayak Fishing Adventure
7 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Coastal Bend Area 2804 Leopard St, Corpus Christi
Heroes on the Water offers free kayak fishing events for registered veterans, active-duty military members, first responders and their immediate families. Fishing gear, kayaks, breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks are provided at no cost.
8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at USS Lexington Museum 2914 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi
Rio Grande Council Cub Scouts can spend the night aboard the USS Lexington with a movie, after-hours exploring and hands-on activities. The overnight adventure costs $85 per person and includes dinner and breakfast.
10-11:30 a.m. at Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures & Education Center 1809 N Chaparral St, Corpus Christi
Learn how to make pork siumai from scratch in a hands-on class led by Mimi Kitchenboss. Participants will prepare the filling, fold the dumplings and learn how to steam them to perfection.
