A heat advisory was released by the NWS Fort Worth TX on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in effect until Thursday at 8 p.m. The advisory is for Wise, Denton, Collin, Parker, Tarrant, Dallas, Montague, Cooke, Grayson, Fannin, Lamar, Hunt, Delta, Hopkins, Rockwall, Kaufman, Van Zandt and Rains counties.
The NWS informs, “Temperatures around 103 degrees and or heat index values up to 106 degrees expected.”
“Hot temperatures will increase the risk for heat-related illnesses to occur, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities,” adds the NWS.
This advisory is in effect until Thursday at 8 p.m.
