CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — As the city of Corpus Christi monitors combined lake levels, it is also looking for ways to conserve water.
City Manager Peter Zanoni tells 3NEWS that city staff have submitted an application to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to temporarily pause environmental water releases.
The effort is aimed at keeping as much water as possible in the reservoirs said Zanoni.
