Corpus Christi ISD responds to first-day bus delays

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas —

Corpus Christi ISD is responding after several buses were late dropping students off at their stops on the first day of school. 

The district reminded parents that bus delays are not unusual during the first weeks of the school year. 

In a statement to 3NEWS, the district said: 

“Between minor route adjustments, families establishing school-day routines and traffic patterns adjusting to the school year pattern, delays generally ease within the first weeks of the school year. We are actively monitoring routes to ensure we are doing our part to be as efficient as possible.”
