A teacher at Fort Worth ISD’s Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School was placed on administrative leave after allegations surfaced that the teacher had communicated inappropriately with a student, officials said Wednesday.
The issue was reported to law enforcement and the appropriate state agencies, according to a message sent to parents Wednesday.
District officials encouraged parents who believe their child might have been treated inappropriately by this or another employee to call the district’s Office of Professional Standards at 817-814-1880.
Because the investigation is pending and involves a personnel matter, Fort Worth ISD officials did not release further information Wednesday night. Officials with the Fort Worth Police Department could not immediately provide additional details.
