A man was killed in a shooting in west Houston Thursday, according to Houston police.
The shooting happened on Walnut Bend near Meadowglen. Police said an adult man died at the scene. A possible suspect has been detained.
The suspect allegedly pulled up in a red car and started an altercation with the victim before shooting him. Police said the suspect admitted to the shooting.
No other details about what led up to the shooting or the identities of those involved have been released.
