LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The UMC TLC2 Foundation Cancer Center in Lubbock is hosting a free session of its Living Well Series on Thursday, August 20th, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The upcoming session, titled Coping with Fear and Anxiety, will feature guest speaker Dr. Evan Guidry, who will discuss how behavioral health support helps cancer patients and survivors navigate the complex emotional challenges of diagnosis and treatment.

The session offers practical, evidence-based guidance and tools for cancer survivors, current patients, and caregivers to enhance overall wellness and improve their quality of life. A complimentary lunch will be provided free of charge to all attendees who submit their RSVP by the August 16th deadline. In addition, all participants attending the event will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a special door prize.
Supported by the UMC TLC2 Foundation Cancer Center, the Living Well Series is designed to empower participants with critical resources during and after major health changes.
