AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Book Festival announced Friday that 18 authors will no longer participate in this weekend’s event due to unforeseen circumstances, including “ongoing flight challenges.”
The cancellations come as the festival prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary on Nov. 8-9.

The festival said changes will be reflected on its schedule updates webpage and thanked attendees for their understanding.
