EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A pedestrian struck by a motorcycle in Central El Paso has died.
El Paso police said officers responded to a single-vehicle crash at 1:42 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, in the 3700 block of Fred Wilson.
The Special Traffic Investigations Unit was called to assist.

Investigators said a person from Las Cruces, New Mexico, was riding a 2024 Kawasaki 500 eastbound in the 3700 block of Fred Wilson when the crash happened.
Police said the pedestrian, 27-year-old Basheer Farajallah Younis of Northeast Texas, was crossing in a non-designated area at the time of the crash.
Both were taken to the hospital.
On Aug. 8, investigators said they were notified by the Medical Examiner’s Office that Younis died as a result of his injuries.
Police said the death is El Paso’s 33rd traffic fatality, compared with 36 at this time last year.
