SOUTHSIDE PLACE, Texas (KTRK) — A police officer was attacked multiple times by a bird in Southside Place earlier in August, surveillance video shows.
In a video recorded on Aug. 5 and later shared with Eyewitness News, the bird dives at the officer multiple times in the parking lot outside the Southside Place Police Department station.
After the initial dive, the officer defends himself and swats away the other attack attempts, the video shows. After at least four dives from the bird, the video shows the officer then leaving the parking lot.
In the video shared with ABC13, the Southside Place police officer is attacked multiple times by the bird.
