SAN ANTONIO – A 46-year-old woman was injured Friday night after being struck by a vehicle on San Antonio’s Northeast Side.

The incident happened around 10 p.m. on Friday near Perrin Beitel and Loop 410.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the woman was crossing the street outside of a designated pedestrian walkway when a dark-colored sedan traveling southbound on Perrin Beitel struck her.

The driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The woman sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

Authorities said the driver, once identified and located, is expected to face a charge of collision involving injury.
