One person was killed and another injured in a shooting on Saturday at a Fort Worth home, police said.
Forth Worth police officers responded to the shooting call in the 6900 block of Misty Glen Court at around 3:32 p.m., according to an initial statement. Responding police learned that an adult man who lives at the property arrived home to find another known adult man there.
An argument ensued, and the men exchanged gunfire, police said. Both men were struck: One was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man who lives in the home was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Initial investigations found that the deceased man had an active protective order against him related to one of the people who lives in the home, according to the statement. Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have video is asked to contact the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4222.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
