Cars drive under the north bridge over Cooper Street, which connects east and west campus, Jan. 28. UTA will return to normal operations Thursday following the winter storm.
Students should be aware of the following dates ahead of the fall semester.
Late registration
Students can continue to register for fall classes during the late registration period this Monday through Friday.
Census date
UTA will conduct its official student count Sept. 1. No grade or withdrawal will be posted if a student drops a course before 5 p.m.
Labor Day
On Sept. 7, the campus will be closed. Classes will resume the following day.
Last day to drop a course
Oct. 30 is the last day to drop classes. Requests must be submitted in MyMav before 4 p.m.
Registration for spring 2027 begins
Registration for the spring semester opens Nov. 2.
Thanksgiving holiday
No classes will be held during Thanksgiving break Nov. 25-27. Classes will resume Nov. 30.
Last day of classes and student study day
The last day of classes will be Dec. 1. No classes will take place Dec. 2 for a student study day ahead of final exams.
Final exams
Finals will be held Dec. 3-9. The official last day of term will be Dec. 9. Students can find exam dates for the fall semester on UTA’s website.
Grades due
Final grades for the fall semester are due Dec. 14.
