
A man was shot and injured in south Fort Worth late Wednesday, Aug. 12, by an unknown suspect, police say.

A man was shot and injured in south Fort Worth late Wednesday night, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of McCart Avenue about midnight. A 911 caller reported hearing around 12 gunshots, according to the call sheet, and said someone was yelling.
The injured man was taken to a local hospital in a private vehicle and is expected to survive, police said. Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit will investigate the incident.
The suspect is unknown, according to police.
