New Summerfield’s boys won the New Summerfield Invitational on Saturday.
Boys teams were New Summerfield (20), Bishop Gorman (43), Tatum (79) and Woden (99).
Top 10 boys individuals were 1. Lisandro Arrendondo, New Summerfield, 17:57; 2. Michael Watson, Bishop Gorman, 18:09; 3. Julian Barcenas, New Summerfield, 18:25; 4. Luis Rios, New Summerfield, 19:10; 5. Jesus Rodriguez, New Summerfield, 18:18; 6. Louie Chavez, Tatum, 19;28; 7. Jose Suarez Guzman, New Summerfield, 19:36; 8. Damian Polk, Cushing, 19:38; 9. Ethan Rae, Bishop Gorman, 19:40; 10. Cohen Schultz, Bishop Gorman, 19:41.
Bishop Gorman’s Molly McCabe (22:13), Megan Metzger (24:30) and Kate Coan (27:06) ran the girls 5K.
In the varsity girls two-mile race, teams were Woden (33), New Summerfield (49), Tatum (54) and Cushing (84).
Top 10 girls individuals were 1. Khloe Meador, Woden, 13:52; 2. Alison Hernandez, New Summerfield, 13:58; 3. Hannah Crowley, Rusk, 14:10; 4. Karlee Keiss, Tatum, 14:51; 5. Tyler Legacy opened its cross country season on Aug. 8 at the Plano ISD Invitational.
The Tyler Legacy girls (70) placed second behind Plano (48)and ahead of Plano East (81), Frisco Centennial (84), Forney (109), Garland Sachse (122) and Dallas Bishop Lynch (174).
Maddry East finished first overall in a time of 11:56. Other Lady Raider finishers were 13. Sloane Tefteller, 13:08; 14. Mckenna Forsyth, 13:15; 18. Alianna Murillo, 13:28; 30. Abigayle Petty, 13:52; 32. Piper Dunihoo, 13:56; 39. Anna Koop, 14:12; 45. Zoe Zolkoski, 14:49.
The Tyler Legacy boys (103) placed fourth behind Garland Sachse (52), Plano East (66) and Dallas Wilson (96) and ahead of Plano West (110), Highland Park (158), Plano John Paul II (161), Dallas Bishop Lynch (215), Plano (218) and Forney (238).

Tyler Legacy will host the Tyler Legacy Invitational Saturday at Lindsey Park.
