SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A woman is recovering in the hospital after she was burned during a house fire on Monday evening.
According to the San Antonio Fire Department, crews were called to the 200 block of Zachry Drive around 5:45 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters were met by heavy flames coming out of one home. The fire in that home was beginning to spread to another home.
The fire was knocked down, but both homes were damaged, the first one believed to be a total loss.
The woman taken to the hospital had non-life-threatening injuries. Another person was also inside the home at the time, but they were not hurt.
