LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A nostalgic Lubbock restaurant is planning a major comeback.
Mr. Gatti’s Pizza is targeting Lubbock as a potential spot for one of its new Family Entertainment Center locations.
The move marks a strategic return to the community where Mr. Gatti’s has deep roots and decades of history as a go-to gathering place for local families.
“Lubbock has always been a meaningful market for our brand, and we see a unique opportunity to reintroduce Mr. Gatti’s in a way that feels both familiar and new,” Travis Smith, executive vice president of Mr. Gatti’s Pizza, said. “There’s strong nostalgia tied to the brand, but just as importantly, there’s growing demand for family-friendly entertainment experiences. Our updated FEC model is built to deliver on both.”
The proposed Family Entertainment Center will combine Mr. Gatti’s pizza buffet with modern attractions like arcade games, prize centers, private party rooms and group event spaces.
