SAN ANTONIO — More than 1,000 incoming students are expected to take part in Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s 10th annual Jaguar March on Wednesday.
The event begins at 8 p.m. Aug. 19 and brings together first-year students, their families, and university employees.
The celebration will include a group photo of the students at the Tower of Esperanza and a performance of the university fight song before the official march back to the main campus, which begins around 9:05 p.m.
Family, friends, and university employees will line the route to welcome the students as they begin their college journey.
University Way will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Drivers should enter campus on Jaguar Parkway via Zarzamora Street during the closure.
