SAN ANTONIO — A Holmes High School coach was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle while running off campus on Tuesday morning, according to a North Side Independent School District official.

The district said Cross Country Coach Steve Barlow was running before school near the Loop 410 access road and Alamo Downs when he was struck.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.

We’re told no students were involved in the incident.
