WOODROW, Texas (KCBD) – After eight days of uncertainty, the Lubbock-Cooper Liberty Patriots (9-1) were finally able to stake claim as district champs, as suffocated the Levelland Lobos (6-4) 49-10, making them district champs for the first time in school history.
Up next for Liberty is a rematch with Monahans, a team they already beat this year 66-7 in week three. Levelland will now have a playoff rematch against Seminole (7-3), the same team that eliminated them last year.
