A woman was arrested after pushing a wheelchair user to the ground at a local adult day care, according to the Laredo Police Department.
Officers responded at about 1:26 p.m. Aug. 17 to an assault report involving two clients at an adult day care in the 2100 block of East Corpus Christi Street.
Surveillance footage showed a woman, identified as 34-year-old Jeanette Medina, pushing another woman who was in a wheelchair, causing her to fall and hit the back of her head, police said.
Laredo Fire Department crews transported the woman to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
Jail records show Medina was booked into Webb County Jail and charged with injury to a disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury, a third-degree felony.
She remained held as of Wednesday morning on a $10,000 bond.
