LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Independent School District announced it will operate under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2026-2027 school year, providing free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students across all district schools.
The program eliminates the need for families to fill out traditional free and reduced-price meal applications, reducing administrative requirements for both parents and school staff.
While meal applications are no longer required, district officials are asking parents to complete a confidential socio-economic information form. Completion of this form ensures Lubbock ISD continues to receive vital state and federal funding that supports classroom resources, campus environments, and overall student learning.
The form can be submitted securely online through the district registration portal on the Lubbock ISD webpage.
